Dr. Ben Behnam is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Behnam attended medical school at UC Irvine School of Medicine and graduated with the highest honors, Alpha Omega Alpha. He then went off to complete his residency in Dermatology at UC Irvine School of Medicine. Dr. Behnam specializes in cosmetic procedures, such as lasers, Botox, Restylane, Radiesse and chemical peels to enhance and rejuvenate the face. In addition, he treats a wide variety of skin conditions, including acne, skin cancers, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and vascular and pigmented lesions.
Dedicated to research and sharing his knowledge, Dr. Behnam has contributed to several medical papers published in the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology. He has been involved in several major research and clinical trial projects including a trial to assess LED Phototherapy for the prevention of post-radiation dermatitis in breast cancer patients.
